So far so good. The dungeon story with unique own twist, while still in line with the genre.

The main character background - as a legendary dwarf blacksmith - before becoming the dungeon, gives the story a chance to stand out.

He is a proud dwarven crafter who now has somewhat cheated death and became dungeon. He does carry over his personality and knowledge which should make things interesting in the future.

Also the way he expands and evolves his dungeon is something you would expect from a master craftsman. Without rush but with a solid plan.

I'm still quite curious how the other character - the former dungeon now known as Echo will turn out. In a way in the beginning it was "dungeon fairy" replacement sort of thing - as a former dungeon who can share the knowledge and experience with MC. But later evolves into something more original.

The story is updated regularly, and the chapter size seems rather larger than most other works on this site. Grammar and style is fine. The plot so far is promising, and it seems author has planed ahead and has a clear direction in which it will be going.

Wonderful and professionally written. Love it. It can be somwhat poetic in the most amazing ways, and I find myself wanting others to marvel at Smit's craftmanship.

This could be very, very good...

In short : an artist builds a dungeon on cheat mode.

He is OP, of course, but the author has a real talent for describing atmosphere. You can FEEL the eeriness and majesty of the dungeon under construction.

Okay so I'm not used to reviews only write them to motivate author to not give up on the story. So far (chap12) it is intriguing. No mistakes that were glaringly obvious. His creatures though murderous seem like cute children. Overall can't wait to see what's gonna happen in the future.

Humming and song gave this story amazing atmosphere kinda like Tolkien's books. Hope to see(hear?) more.

Familiar but unique and interesting

I love how the MC is taking so much pride and work into making his dungeon and making it this beautiful place instead of just focusing on how to kill people to gain power. Really looking forward to how this will work out.

Also I really want to see how people react if they are inside the dungeon when  he starts singing one of his songs. As another reviewer said I would like to see that become a regular thing.

Usually dungeon stories are cases of a human from earth reincarnating into one with no reason as to why they somehow remember their past life (or worse, a random God with stupid reasons). Here we have a case where a 730 year old dwarf native of the fantasy world dies and instead of quietly going to the afterlife he possesses an injured dungeon heart. The whole thing flows logically and feels like a real book instead of some horrible fanfic self insert power fantasy.

The dwarf dungeon in question then builds himself a uniquely dwarven dungeon, everything must be masterwork, beautifully sculpted walls, etc. The descriptions are very pleasing. I don't know where the author will go with this long term, but so far I am very satisified with the story.

is it weird that when i read about him humming i imagined songs from LotR?

it would be cool if that becomes a habit of his, singing/humming ancient songs in forgotten languages that whisper on the wind for miles.

Looking forward to how this will go

It's quite short as of now, but is actively being updated. Progression seems a bit slow, but there's not too much focus on the game interface and Smit is doing some original stuff. It's well-written. I think the singing mountain aspect is quite neat, and I'm pretty sure the author is taking some of the best reader suggestions into account, which is always appreciated. With that, any questions that you may have when reading that could break immersion get answered pretty organically in the next chapter.

THIS AINT UR TYPICAL DUNGEON STORY

At only 15 chapters this story quite beautifully written. The reader can feel the work that went into each chapter and it leaves you with a deep sense of satisfaction. The story is not too rushed and is set at a moderate pace with no information dumps along the way. Each POV is masterfully done to give the reader information about the new world. One of the greatest works I have seen on this site and a must read I would recommend to anyone.
