An excellent beginning

I'm enjoying this story quite a bit- the premise is interesting, the characters are well written, and the dialogue is nicely done. I can't wait to see where the author goes with it next. I think, so far, that chapter two is my favorite- right from the beginning, the reader is drawn into Naomi's mindset, and some of her mental commentary is quite entertaining.

A great start to an interesting and unique story.

Over all very good. A nice start to the story with interesting characters, even the captain that in these first three chapters we only meet ever so briefly. Good tension and a nice come down. Though I expect more excitment will come soon.

Does need some work still to finish cleaning it up, but overall a well told and well written story. Even if it does start with a breathtakingly cliche one-liner.
