Story is interesting and a good take on the Virtual reality genre, it is especially refreshing to see an mc not completely obsessed with revenge, however the mc has no personality and it feel kind of like read a series of events not a story. However, if you can ignore that and enjoy virtual reality you will probably enjoy the story.

for a new writer, this is a really good novel

the grammar still good so far, don't meet much fault-spelling,the story is a bit like other novel but it still interesting enough, the character are quite likeable and the mc know how to deal with problem (including real life stuff like those hater, those edited video that speak bad about he and his team,...) and not just rely on his past knowledge. If you think there maybe a plot hole (like the reason why he help that two girl) then just keep reading, there will be a point the mc explain itself

and one big plus point, the author release a daily chapter, and the chapter all quite long enough so why everyone not love it

edit at chapter 29: the author have make a well done in tactical attack,he make the mc OP in a good and smart way instead of those mc like the one in "Sword art online"that just only jump in and slash all over the place

edit at 5/11: if you think the character don't know how to plan or something similar like the behavior ,try to at least read to chapter 15 or 17 then do the review, feel a bit like too many reader don't even bother to read to that point and just drop and throw the review like that and just think the story is bland .

And at chapter 38 and 39 ,here finally some more real life scene and a bit of the mc background story there (the mc continuely play in that pod for almost 1 month ,so that why there are not much real life scene),and also great story developing there (include a new character that the mc have help changed his future)

edit at 2/12: if you wondering why Blossom sister do that to her from chapter 50 then check chapter 61 near the middle ,the author do explain it properly the reason and not some bad writing that make that sister gone "stupid"

like how this story flows. Have read other books about going into the past where the person frantically goes crazy to get gold/ money / revenge. Like how this one isn't like that. Keep up the good work.

The receipt for the downfall of a good novel

well. how can i say that, the novel is not bad, but the author make everything seems bland and bad, the combat scenes are without details, are bland and dont create and type of sentiment on the reader, maybe only the "boring" type..He create a harem in the beginning, IN THE BEGINNING..fuck is this, no romance, he find the girls everyfucking time and is a white knight, the girls are  in love after the first fight together and keeps licking his ball even in the POVS, the characters are bland without a good personality, is soo cliche that makes the reader want to stop after reading a line of the girls.. if you want something just to chill and waste your time because you have nothing to do, this novel is good to you, but if you want to read something serius and find a good read, probably you dont gonna find it here

A Divine path worth traveling

For a new writer this book is divine. It is something you would expect someone with several years experience to write, not a new one. It has it clichés but all books do. The main attracting point is how it seems to drag you in. Then once your in it traps you with everything from the characters to plot to the style. The point of fantasy books is to entertain. And that is exactly what this book does

Good for a first start, need a better premise.

Long as fuck with spoiler warning.

The story premise has limited potential, which I will get too later, but the main problem that I am seeing is that the story is written somewhat blandly. A lot of the scenes are explained just so matter of factly. An example are his fight scenes. The fight scenes are basically written with the basic formula of protag knows all of the monsters moves, explains how the protag will counter monsters moves and then monster dies. There is no real tension in the story because the protag is never in any real danger.

Another problem that I can see coming up in the future of the story is the game creators should catch onto the protag. When the protag basically knows everything about the game and he takes advantage of all of his knowledge, then the game creators should catch onto something about the protag. The protag has already completed a hidden quest and got two of his companions a hidden class. All within his first day or 2 of playing. It displays intimate knowledge of the game, which the protag has, that no one should have access to so be careful with having the character display too much more knowledge of the game unless you are willing to have the game creators start giving the protag problems or you are just living with the plot hole that would occur due to his intimate knowledge.

Another plot hole that I saw is the fact that the protag, at the age of 20, has 100,000 dollars in the bank. That is a large sum of money for someone to have just randomly. That type of money should be explained, even if it is just a cop out like he won the lottery or something stupid like that. There is no 20 year old with that type of cash in the bank unless they are born in a rich family, which I would assume the protag is not since he is not attending college, or he worked his ass off constantly in creating a new business after highschool when he was 18 with the business being relatively successful. I guess you could also have both his parents die and he inherits their meager life savings of 100,000 dollars. Anyways, the point is that the amount of money that he starts off with needs to be explained.

Other people have said this complaint in their reviews, but I will get on the train as well and say that the protag needs to have a goal. Thus far, based off what I am reading, I would assume that his goal is to meet up with the chick he died saving in the car crash or vengance against those that betrayed him in the last life, but neither of those goals sound like they are particularly hard goals. With all of his insider knowledge, both of those goals should be easy. He can literally just btfo the traiters that screwed him in his guild since they are probably just good players without any big guild connections since they were recruited into his guild when he was a small start up guild without any history. For the other goal, obtaining his girl, all he has to do is find her. He already knows what faction she is apart of and he probably knows around where she started out the game as well. It was also proven that they have chemistry with them getting together in the future so the wooing part will not be hard either. You need to be able to find a long time goal for the protag with some actual difficulty. Most litrpg's find it pretty easy to have difficult situations and goals for the protag by either transporting or starting the protag in an rpg world where everything has already started so the protag does not have any sort of head start on every single other character in the game. Having a world already moving allows for the protag to have difficulties and challenges when he starts off with intimate knowledge of their world which helps to make the story interesting. In this story, every character starts from the same point, but the main character has 10 years of future knowledge of this game. This causes the protag to leap and bound past every other character in the game and know how to fight and interact with every single npc. This leaves very little room for contention. The only contention that the protag can really have in this story is the contention with the other players, but that goes away with him being able to sprint past everyone in the game. That is why I don't see much potential in the story. There are no hard goals that I can think that the protag will have that will actually make his journey difficult. With the way the story is going, the protag will basically be overpowered from the very beginning and will not face any real challenges since he should be able to 1 v 1 any person in the game from the get go and the further he gets into the game, the larger that disparity will grow. So the only potential that I can see from this story is that of a stomp fest where the protag just wrecks everyone and obtains all of his goals with little effort. The story will have no suspense. Anyways, I hope my review was helpful. Hope you can find a way to give the protag reasonable barriers on his path that actually take effort to overcome. If you dont, I hope this story helps you to learn more about writing and will help the next story you write be much better.

Great novel so far | Status update appreciated

TLDR:

The divine path is a very good novel, while it doesn't do much new (which is understandable for a first book) it has a lot of detail and strings the arcs together in a way that doesn't destabilize the pace of the story.

Content

The story is very standard for this genre, but there definitely are some things that are done very well, that I personally enjoy a lot of. The way the guilds are formed and managed, as well as progress, is very good. It shows the struggles of trying to maintain order. The regions for the guilds and the reinforcement system for the NPC villages nearby are also done very well. It gives a purpose to maintain a peaceful relationship with the villages and has benefits and consequences. The game itself also has some charm compared to other books. The overall book is very refreshing.

I can't really say much about the grammar, mainly because I just ignore incorrect grammar from books, but I didn't see any major issues.

Relationships

Unlike most people, I don't have any problem with this either. The relations between the core member of the cast are weird, but it fits as it is a game. If it was real life, then the quick bonding relationship wouldn't work. The only issue I have with the relations if that the love he has for his previous girlfriend in his first life seems to fade, then come back at random times. However, it is not a big issue.

Conclusion

As it is right now, it has a lot of potential, however, it seems to have been dropped/on-hold with no updates or comments from the creator for 2 weeks now.

As of chapter 11:

It's mostly an amalgam of cliches that anyone who's read a story like this has seen before, but with poorer execution. The MC doesn't really seem to have much of a plan, the characters aren't very interesting or even minimally believable and the plot is basically an afterthought. I'm sure there are people who could enjoy this, but to them I say, "Read Reign of the Hunters instead. It's a much better story with a similar premise."

Fun story from a new author. Must read!

This is by far one of the most entertaining stories I’ve read on RR in a while.

The story feels well thought out, and I keep wanting to see what is planned next.

The LITRPG elements are also very comfortable to any that have played games before.

I highly recommend!
