So far, Positively Average

Main issue would be the tenses of the sentences. There's a mix of present and past tense which is jarring to read.

Pacing is a bit rushed, some scenes where character establishment would be broght up are glossed over. There's a bit of lack in character from the interactions between the princess and the beast, its kinda forced that she warmed up so quickly, maybe have her conflict with her warming feelings for the beast because of history with dark monsters or something? And since the scottsman is a fellow revived, he could try and 'act' that he will safe guard the princess but also is secretly helping the beast get a better impression to the princess since he knows he's a revived, these are just passing thoughts c:

Structure is otherwise okay. There's a natural flow to the events up until the fire in the village point, it's too sudden to have another event after being in the middle of settling things down. (My suggestion would be that the village doesn't burn just yet and the girl and the beast or whoever go exploring, but then knights who are looking for the princess see the beast and burn the village down or something, but that's just my suggestion c:)

But yeah, I like to know where the story goes. I don't know what exactly got me hooked, but I'm in for the ride. Choo Choo
