Rainer, an amateur arcanist and college student, sought to create a new spell far surpassing the magic of the few he inherited from his grandfather. Yet the interference of an unknown event during the casting of his spell led him to be thrown through space and time.
Where status screens were accepted as normal and class distinctions were quite clear. Leveling and achieving a class beyond a simple farmer or peddler was an affair of life and death combined with years of hard training. Goblins were not the fodder that they should be, orcs filled bedtime stories in order to scare children into behaving, and a dragon? You might as well pack up and move to another country.
He, however, enters this world with the rare and powerful class of the Arcanist. How will the recently ardent seeker of magic find greater heights, or will he land in deeper depths?

All the nameless goblin slave ever wanted was not to be beaten by his masters too much, and to eat as much as he could shove into his mouth when no one was looking. Instead, he is drugged and whisked away to the far off Iron Teeth Mountains.
Will he be able to survive there and evolve into something more than a simple goblin? To stay alive he will have to deal with hordes of deadly monsters, fit in among human bandits, and carve a bloody path through the forests of the North.
However, first he has to get over his crippling fear of trees, and survive in a place where everything considers him to be the perfect size for a quick snack...

His mind lost, his anger went on to bring about the path of carnage. He is, but an inextinguishable flame that threatens to consume everything; all in the name of retribution.
Death was but a moments reprieve for his agony. His rage overflows even after the sweet release.
Unable to be snuffed out by the laws of the world, he is granted life once more In a different era. All those whom his vengeance is focused on, vanished into obscurity with the passage of time.
What does one who has all the power of the world at his finger-tips do, when all the reasons for that power have vanished?
A modern man finds himself reincarnated in the body of a young slave with no skills and quickly fading memories. Follow his journey to find normalcy while living in a savage world, filled with myth and legends, monsters and Demons. In a land where the strong rule, the weak serve, and bloodshed is a way of life, peace is a luxury few can afford. Author's note: Expect a chapter every mon/wed/fri, unless I start writing faster. The story is eastern themed, but not Xianxia, no chasing immortality, MC is not OP. Less action, more character and world driven is my aim. Mature language and themes, but no raunchy sex. It's my first story, constructive criticism would be appreciated.
Arwyn has just bought Fantasia, the first fantasy-based VRMMORPG, with 99% realism that you can play while you sleep. In the game, she becomes Fey, a moon elf starting in the magical Elvenwood. Join her (and her snarky narrator who likes to interject sarcastic comments in parentheses) on her exciting, often hilarious adventures inside this magical world full of every fantasy creature you've ever encountered in books, games, and movies, and a few that you haven't.
Oh, and there's something strange about the NPCs in this game... See if you can figure it out before Fey does. (No, they are not self-aware AIs.)

Genesis had become the biggest and most popular vrmmorpg in the world, with a massive part of the worlds population playing. but after several years the games quests have started to become repetitive, and the nations have reached a staus quo.
Not willing to let the game he loves fall to ruin, Matthew Harper has planned to shake things up...
A long time player of a Sci-Fi VRMMO was waiting anxiously for the new big update that was going to add countless new systems to explore and even rumored new game elements.
Mercs are causing trouble in my city. They are hunting someone, whatever the cost. It’s not like I care that some lowly humans died, but if I don’t act now it would set a bad example. So what would the hero do? Probably he would save the victims and protect them while the enemies keep coming…
Yeah, as if I would ever do something so troublesome! They aren’t calling me the demon lord for no reason. I suppose I’ll just shoot the victim and be done with it.

I was asked about reading my work on other sites.
The answer is simple: Currently I am not active in any other networks than royalroadl.com. Only here, I correct mistakes and errors.
If you read it anywhere else and have to pay for it, or have to deal with an annoying amount of advertisement, You Are Being Betrayed.
You would do good if you make other people in that network aware of it. This is a free project of mine for the purpose of having fun. And if people try to make money with it you shouldn't bother visiting their website.
I have no problem with translation and reposting of the story, as long as the person in question isn't doing it for money or stealing my identity.
The only one whom I actually allowed to have my work on his website is Armaell who invested the time to compile them into pdf.
A young man who's lived his everyday life with bitter pessimism suddenly gets his world turned upside down by what he calls, """"The world's most untimely apocalypse"""". Despite all the new dangers that came with this unexpected situation, he has so far managed to avoid death, ruin and whatever else the world decided to throw at him. Unexpected development after unexpected development, danger after danger, situation after situation, will he survive this **game** of life and death?
I will be posting a chapter a week.
If you were to ask someone what they thought of Revian Snow, they would say that she's small. Cute too. Doesn't talk much. Average grades, and hard to find in a crowd, though you'd think that someone with her looks would be more noticeable. She also plays the popular VRMMO's for some reason, but doesn't like to interact with others too much, even online.
In short, she doesn't stand out too much.
She likes it that way—After all, it's much easier to keep a secret when nobody's looking for one.
An extinction-level asteroid, 213 Astraea, is cannonballing toward Earth. Collision, imminent. An international team of scientists is working around the clock to avert the cataclysm—few are optimistic. World governments are preparing for impact with deep earth bio-dome bunkers, but only a select few lottery winners will be saved.
Jack Mitchel, a thirty-two-year-old EMT living in a tiny studio apartment on the West Coast, isn’t one of those winners.
Still, there might be a way for him to survive Astraea: a slim chance, requiring a radical leap of faith. Through a connection at Osmark Technologies, Jack’s acquired a NexGenVR capsule and with it, a one-way ticket to the brand-new, ultra-immersive, fantasy-based VRMMORPG, Viridian Gate Online. Taking that leap of faith, though, means permanently trapping his mind in the game, killing his body in the process.
Worse, one in six die during the transition, and even if Jack beats the odds, he’ll have to navigate a fantastical world that’s filled with near-limitless opportunities, but also home to vicious monsters, domineering AIs, and cutthroat players. And when Jack stumbles upon a secret conspiracy to sell off virtual real estate to the ultrawealthy—transforming V.G.O. into a new feudal dark age—the deadly creatures inhabiting Viridian Gate’s expansive dungeons will be the least of his concerns.
If Jack can’t game the system, he’s going to be trading in a quick death for a long, brutal one …
So real quick, the typical genre I write in is Urban Fantasy. litRPG is a new genre for me and I'm really floating this story here on Royal Road to see if folks are interested in the premise before I decide to commit to writing the whole novel. So if you dig this, please comment and let me know—as that means this book is one that's worth pursuing. Thanks in advance!
13+ Swearing and Gore. (A LitRPG series.)
The Jukal Empire’s fleets can’t keep back the aggressive species. An idea is fielded, create Emerilia, a world of magic, Dwarves, Elves and fantasy characters.
They can grow cycles of human Players, conditioned in a simulation of Earth to make them want to play Emerilia. What's the best way to control slaves? Make them think that they're free.

Setting: The setting of the story is a modern fantasy world called Eleg, which is culturally and technologically similar to present day Earth in many ways, yet also divergent in many others. It's not an alternate timeline, as Eleg has its own geography and political systems, but there are still some historical parallels.

Welcome to the world of Insania, a game where you can play however you want! An expansive world ruled by a top tier AI capable of accommodating each and every player and their needs!
Here we follow the story of Richard, and his avatar, the golem Gondorrer, as he comes and plays a MMO in one of the most dificult ways for no other reason than a sudden impulse, and fail miserably a few times before finally getting it right.
Follow him in his adventures, composed by epic monster battles, custom made equipments, bad jokes, not right in the head friend, along with an unhealthy addiction to Monster Hunter, lots of rolling and window-balls!
Okay, this is my first story here and it will probably be full of errors and such since my native language is portuguese, but any and all (constructive) critics are welcome.
Kade Wilson is a retired Cop and an active Gamer. For the last 4.5 years he has held the number #1 spot on the VR World Games List. And while he did not win his last championship game he struck it rich. And to top it all off he is approached to be one of 500 hand-selected beta testers for an entirely new kind of game, an offer that he is incapable of refusing.
This is a work in progress and largely unedited. There shouldn't be too many spelling and grammar mistakes in there but then again, I am just the writer... Bear with me or contact me if you find something that is just too bad for you.
Also, as Imentioned in one of the comments I will be going over the stats and skill system and most likely rework a chunk of them. You will find logic holes in this story. Moments where the behavior or decision making process of the chars doesn't seem to fit, where stats seem off, where space ships don't behave correctly or whatever. If you do, please shoot me a message so I can write them down and fix them.
Feel the horror and revel in the humor as battles take place, one turn at a time, amid background music and strange announcer voices.
