In the year 2050, a collection of companies united and collaborated in order to deliver the first modern open-world VRMMO. Based off of Earth, the planet "Aeus", has 9 continents and roughly twice the size of Earth. Players start in the game, where they log in for the first time in real life and are encouraged to explore and play as they see fit.
With over 950 million copies sold worldwide, the game had quickly dominated the entertainment industry, youtube was flooded with tutorials and game plays while advertisements for gold farmers had started appearing in mainstream media. In-game items had sold for real cash, with the biggest arm-dealer in Aeus becoming the one of the 1% on Earth.
Thomas started Aeus late, his terrible gear and lack of experience causing him to stumble from one mess to another. In a world where players are better armed than the national guard and the law is enforced on the whim by egotistical assholes, can Thomas finally settle down and build his own gameplay from the ground up?
When you hear or think of the word powers, you might think of supernatural powers right? that's because everyone, at some point in there lives, wanted powers.

Sorry not really good at Summaries, but thats the bad synopsis version of the story. Also i apologize now so i don't have to later, my Grammar is REALLY BAD. I mean english is like my cursed subject. But i have a dream and i want you all to read it. So here it is.
Again REALLY SORRY ABOUT THE GRAMMAR, SPELLING, ENGLISH IN GENERAL.
This is a tribute to a manga I wrote in high school. I quit drawing the manga fully realizing that my drawing skill is not nearly enough for a manga.
The main character's name is the same as in another story I am writing but they are unrelated.
The discontinued manga itself ended up as main inspiration for my current Tiamat trilogy
Which first part is The Fallen (?) Hero and Aži Dahāka's Soul Fragment
Second part (in planning) which is Rhapsody of a Stranded Fafnir
And lastly, Tiamat (Actually this one is the first one I wrote among the three but I decided to release this last since there might be heavy editing to incorporate the other two into it)
Life is quite strange, isn't it? We make so many things to make our lives easier, knowing full well that it's destroying what it meant to be "human".
What IS a human? This question's been asked for a long time, lots of answers popping out as time flies, yet we haven't deciced what exactly it means to be one.
Regardless, being human isn't what's important right now. What if you were given a chance to live a new life as a different person? A different race? A different planet? A different reality? Would you agree to it?
Annoying, huh. So many questions you have to consider, but you don't really need to think too much about it. I clearly didn't. Not like it mattered, it all went well in the end. Technically.
Reincarnated into a virtual reality. Sounds weird, probably because it is. I agreed to it, so did a few others, wasn't much of a problem to any of us. But that doesn't mean we don't other problems, does it? Look at me, acting all mysterious. Anyways, it was a very fun experience that we were willing to deal with, it was filled with a lot of sadness and a lot of other negative emotions, but hey, such is life, even in a faux one. Here's my story, I guess.

Leyline of Tomorrow was a short story project for my creative writing class. It ended up going much longer than the technical amount of pages that was required, 3 times as much in fact. The idea for the story began with me considering if I wanted to write a fantasy story for class or a sci fi story for class, with the end result being the decision of why not both. The story while being a complete story for the class is left open ended as I have ideas for it that I might expand on at a future date. For now I wanted to get some feedback on my most up to date piece of fiction so I can improve on future projects. I hope you enjoy my story.
This is a story about a man named Jack who was hit by a truck. What happens to him is decided by the comments. I choose the one I like and have him react to that scenario. If there is a good scenario I will maybe run with it for a few chapters or even an entire arc. This is my first fiction on this site, so I am looking forward to your feedback. Thanks! (I will update the synopsis as the story continues so it fits what has been written)
There is no such thing as nothing.
By defining it as so, it has become something.
In that sense, is nothing not the same as everything?
