A story where women take the lead!

Okay! For this review, I’m going to close my eyes on the 18+ contents and focus on the plot instead!

Style (4/5):

The point of view does switch from third person to first person and back to third person, from chapter to chapter. The story is delivered more or less, despite the varying POV.

The story has a nice pace. The introduction was of a decent length, just enough to introduce the main characters and the background.

One of the things that the author is good at is her depiction of fighting/action scenes. When you read these scenes, you can imagine the involved characters engaging in a fierce battle.

:D

Characters (4.5/5):

Female characters and five of them at that! I don’t think we get a lot of female leads in “another world” stories. The main characters of Constantine aren’t your typical “I’m weak and I need protection” women. They are seriously tough and intelligent (so far). Also, the five of them have a tight bond. They do feel like a family… well, sisters, if you know what I mean. (At least, in my opinion they do.)

Each of the characters has their own unique ability. So far, I’ve taken a liking to how characters apply their ability in their struggles/fights. I read up to the latest chapter (chapter 12), and I am very curious about how the five MCs will live out their new lives in an unfamiliar setting.

Story (4.5/5):

Putting aside the 18+ contents, the story is actually interesting. There are five main characters that set on an adventure in an unknown world. (I guess that makes this story a “transported to another world” story in a sense.)

Spoiler: Spoiler

Grammar (3.5/5):

This was the only criteria that “Constantine” wasn’t too good on. It’s readable, and my eyes got accustomed to the repeating mistakes. However, if the author fixed the mistakes she has been making, Constantine would become a way better read!

Well, I have been seeing fewer mistakes in the latest chapters. That tells me that the author’s grammar may be improving. (Good job!)

Overall (4/5):

I like where the story is going. I would have given a 4.5/5 if it wasn’t for the grammar.

As for the sexual contents… well fellow readers, you have been warned with the red words (aka “sexual contents” warning on the fiction page). This is definitely 18+. The sexual contents are heavy in the beginning chapters. However, it does thin out later, but I can’t guarantee anything since it’s only been 12 chapters. Because I am not a big fan of sexual contents, I skipped the bad scenes and focused on reading the core story.
