Base Affection

Death is not an end, but a test. Mortals upon death in their initial world are sent to another to suffer some sort of tribulation to decide whether they are destined for heaven, hell, or something beyond. Some believe they are meant to complete some unknown task, others simply do deeds. The answer is never clear. Each mortal is given a tool of some sort for their tribulation. Some its a weapon, forbidden knowledge, a power, or even a system of a kind. Thus, is the fate of a mortal whos flame of life had been extinguished, only to be rekindled elsewhere.
