The Arcane Magnus dies, only to find himself in the body of a ten-year-old noble in a medieval Kingdom. In this world where magic is undeveloped, he shall once again pave a new path.
A dying avenger and a naive noble merge into a whole one fateful night. The storm which brings them together is just a prelude to the gale which will blow throughout the Empire. The nobles have been too arrogant for too long and the power whose exclusivity was the foundation of their tyranny has trickled down the barriers of class and into the masses. Our protagonist Cyn Pavone must come to terms with the conflict within in order to face the upheaval without.

2039 - Earth
A narrow beam energy signal appeared aimed squarely at earth from the TRAPPIST system. The communication consisted of a layered set of repeating data over several thousand wavelengths. Over the next few months scientists discovered that the lower wavelengths carried an encoded numerical language which could then be used to interpret the more complicated messages carried on the higher wavelengths. After half a year of painstaking work the signal was fully decoded. It described a small satellite launched along a precise trajectory towards the fourth planet of our solar system. Included was a package of advanced research that humanity would need to have ready in order to receive the satellite and decelerate it safely. The alien data provided the kick that humanity needed to turn from petty squabbling and unite to explore the final frontier. Major government and corporate leaders worked together to create the framework for the United Federation of Sol. UFS spaceports went from scaffolding to daily launches in every major city around the globe. Ships floated like dandelion seeds, spreading on solar wind to grow into colonies.
2397 - Mars orbit, Egeria Station
The command center was a hive of activity as checks were conducted and systems initialized. Scientists flitted by like mayflies as communicators beeped and holoscreens spat out green tinted readouts. Nervous energy was thick in the air as everyone anticipated the culmination of over three hundred years of work. Massive fusion reactors under the planet's surface thrummed with barely restrained power as energy fed into a gleaming metallic maze criss crossing the planet. Metal fingers reached up, overshadowing the mighty olympus mons and trying to grab the stars. All over the solar system, people quickly turned to look as gigantic energy lances shot from the dusty fourth planet.
Two years later. The same people that clapped loudly at the successful activation of project Hermes now wait with baited breath. A silver capsule trailing bright photonic sails is captured by a net of grav beams and guided with care bordering on reverence into the station. Holoscreens across the headquarters project an image of the sleek craft settling in the bay. Data connections are established and the holoscreens blink to white. Slowly an image forms on the screen. Across the headquarters people stare in wonder as a wholly alien face stares back.

The year is 2098 and the world is facing a crisis, overpopulation. There is not enough food to support the 10.5 billion people that live on the earth. The world's governments have been using many different temperary solutions, many of them are to reduce the population. None of them were permanent solutions. It wasn't until 2088 that a solution that was more then temperary was found by a gaming company, Infinum Entertainment. Infinum Entertainment develped an alternate reality game, that when used in conjunction with the advances in neural mapping would allow for transference of the mind into the game permanently. Working in conjunction with the World Overpopulation Solutions Committee a plan was developed to have the impoverished populations of the world colonize this digital frontier. With media marketting and goverment funding the world responded positivily and in 2098 Exodus launched. The plan to save the world, but new problems arose.
The story follows Gideon Ellis, son of the developers of the A.I. in control of Exodus. Gideon has ALS and looks forward to the oppertunity to have a new body that isn't effected by the troubles that his physical body is going through. Diving into the game accompanied by his sister, he finds that it isn't as much of a game as it is another world. In this new world, Gideon and his friends have to deal with the fact that while yes it is a "game" this new world is real and their actions have permanent and long lasting consequences.

Many forget the medieval era sucked. Life and death were never too far apart, especially when you add magic and several ever present dangers. Beware! there will be death and plenty of it. This will be a revenge story Tarantino would be proud of.
This story will cover a well flushed out magic system (Not an LitRPG, we have enough of those) and a setting reminiscent of medieval Europe with some minor eastern influence. I have a rough draft outlined for many future chapters, but it takes time to add additional content and flush out characters. I eddit A LOoT. This is my first published story, so please be lenient with mistakes. Also, please leave me back feedback and ideas.
Lux La Luna is a boy who was born cursed. His mana pool is a third of what is considered average and his physical strength is subpar as well, Lux’s only real redeeming quality is his family’s bloodline. He's a son of the Luna family, and as such he has the innate ability to tame.
Tamers don’t need huge mana pools nor do they need to be heroic warriors of martial might, all tamers need is one good pet. Just one pet can change an otherwise useless tamer into a legendary figure who’ll leave an indelible mark on history.
Lux’s older sister has just such an amazing pet, but sadly all Lux himself has is an egg and a promise from a shady trader…

Jason Pitt is the Chief Clerk for Earth's ambassador to Rixis. His boss is an idiot, and he pretty much runs the embassy on his own. He attends high class diplomatic parties, ambassadors from across the galaxy call him a friend, and he's having an affair with the boss's wife. So yeah, good deal!
Unfortunately, Jason knows far less than he thinks he does. The boss's teenage daughter is sneaking out at night, an Earth Intelligence agent is poking around, and even his friend Dii, the gossip-mongering Ootooroo ambassador, is starting to get nervous.
All Jason has is a business card. "Gozemar: Procurer of rare items and services." Too bad nobody seems to know who Gozemar is, or what Gozemar wants. What Jason doesn't know really can hurt him, and what he's slowly stumbling across is likely to do a whole lot more than just hurt.
The third novel from Aaron Dov, author of The Madman's Clock and Jovan's Gaze, The Ambassador's Clerk is a humorous look at diplomacy on a planet where nothing much happens... until everything bad happens at once.
