Growing up an immense castle, Alfred has everything he wanted.Brand new cars, private jet, expensive and branded clothes, one can say that he was living in paradise. Marty had a fairly easy life as a cook for Arctic Storm Entertainment headquarters when he gets an offer from the company to try out a new playstyle for their biggest VRMMORPG, Oblivion Online. Follow him as he makes his way through the game as one of the monster races trying to survive against the forces of light.
Author's note: I will update every Monday and Friday for sure, with the possibilities of bonus chapters through the week if I get extra writing done. I also did a disservice to several of my characters early on. I'm slowly working through a re-write, but it will be a while as I want to make sure I get it right this time around.
Jerome just happened to be at the wrong place (sneaking into a top-secret government facility) at the wrong time (when it was guarded, aka all the time).
Now he's in the game-like alternate dimension of New Australia. It teems with life: humongous beasts, flourishing civilizations, and a bewildering array of lush ecosystems.
Also, every single sentient native species hates humans and tries to kill them (permanently) on sight.
Things look grim, but he has three things going for him:
* A unique ability that lets him impersonate anyone he touches
* A super-hot mentor that's kind of like Gandalf with boobs
* Plot armor, because he's the main character
Will he survive? Duh, plot armor. More importantly: will he stay a child, or will he become the hero that New Australia needs?
Anton Thorn died in an incident of his own creation, his body torn and shredded to pieces.
Yet death and eternal rest did not await him. Gods, from another world, took his soul along many others to their world to fight an overwhelming and impossible foe.
By chance and oversight his soul was missed by the gods, his soul destined to remain in limbo and torment for all eterinity. A few weak and desperate gods took a chance with him and brought him through to their world.
Now sent far away from the battle, in his original body, to a small village in the husk of a dead kingdom. It is now up to him to restore the Kingdom and fight off anything that would threaten him or those he loves; be they human, beast, monster or hero.
The year is 2245, and the world has undergone explosive growth in multiple industries. The age of Virtual Reality came long ago, opening up new fields for people to enjoy and seek employment. There were even those that chose to sacrifice their physical bodies, becoming digital existences that lived within internet communities.
But with the age of VR, everyone still dreamed of that next step, the next level of adventure. And after a hundred years, it has finally arrived. The first consoles, known as Seeds, mass distributed among the people, with such realism that they no longer qualified as a Virtual Reality, but as an Artificial Reality. But what happens when things become too real?

Welcome to the world of Insania, a game where you can play however you want! An expansive world ruled by a top tier AI capable of accommodating each and every player and their needs!
Here we follow the story of Richard, and his avatar, the golem Gondorrer, as he comes and plays a MMO in one of the most dificult ways for no other reason than a sudden impulse, and fail miserably a few times before finally getting it right.

Okay, this is my first story here and it will probably be full of errors and such since my native language is portuguese, but any and all (constructive) critics are welcome.
A young man who's lived his everyday life with bitter pessimism suddenly gets his world turned upside down by what he calls, """"The world's most untimely apocalypse"""". Despite all the new dangers that came with this unexpected situation, he has so far managed to avoid death, ruin and whatever else the world decided to throw at him. Unexpected development after unexpected development, danger after danger, situation after situation, will he survive this **game** of life and death?
I will be posting a chapter a week. (No chapter this week 2/11/17)
In 2144 an experiment on wormholes that was intented to find a solution for interstellar travel opened up the door to new possibilities, a world that we thought only existed in books and in our imaginations. A world of magic and dragons.
Nine-to-five. The daily grind. Life. Painful years of school. Working as a slave for some undeserving corporate big-wig. The monotonous life of unemployment. We all experience this in one way or another, and we can all conclude one thing: it's dull.
Such a truth rings true even for the fabled Lone Immortus, a powerful nine-tailed Golden Foxkin. However, what would you do if your monotony was suddenly ground to a halt and you were thrown out of your comfort zone along with a young girl forgotten by time?
Perhaps you might have done things differently, been more organised, immediately died, gained control of the world in a matter of days, but this is Lone's tale, not yours.
Watching two insecure people struggle to survive and find their place in an unfamiliar land just might be enjoyable to witness. Who knows? One thing's for certain, it won't be an easy path for them to tread, and what could possibly be more entertaining than watching people endure hardships and grow?
I know of at least 8 Gods that would answer with, 'Absolutely nothing.'
I wonder. After seeing this journey from start to finish, how would you answer?
A/N: This story is in the middle of a rewrite, so please forgive any noticeable plot holes and wonky chapter numbers. I am working on it every day, so understanding would be greatly appreciated.

This novel is a participant in The Writer's Pledge
What if you were transported to a fantasy world with no special abilities, no OP weapons and no status screen to boost your stats? Never mind finding the dragon’s treasure or defeating the Demon Lord, you only need to worry about one thing—how to stay alive.
A group of young Brits wake up in a strange, fantastical land with creatures from myth and legend. They are given archaic weapons they don't know how to use and told to do their best.
Convinced it has to be some kind of virtual reality RPG, all the people summoned form parties and set off on their adventures, leaving behind the people nobody wants in their group.
Story of my life, thinks Colin.

Eldritch horrors descend from the sky to consume the world. Only a last-minute intervention by a mysterious Hegemony of Worlds saves Earth, albeit temporarily. Skills, levels, and battles with twisted monsters are part of the new reality the survivors will have to face.
Augustus Finn is a young man driving home when the new system is imposed. He is thrown directly into danger as a twist of fate places him in an area designated, by the automated systems of the Hegemony, for the containment and disposal of eldritch energy - areas also known as dungeons. Without the aid of tutorials, or the orientation areas commonly known as "newbie zones," Augustus will have to make his own way to survive in unforgiven circumstances.
He will face monsters, aliens, other humans, and his own darkness as he struggles to grow strong enough to face the countdown to apocalypse.
A terminally bored IT guy finds a sub-dimension in the back stairwell of his office building. It escalates from there.
Did you ever wonder that there might be another world? a world where magic exists? A world where dragons, devils, gods and more.
Well, our Mc thought that those worlds were but the fantasy of crazed writers, and would only read about them in books and stories.
However, he was transported to such a world, he and his classmates. A world where the laws made by men were easily bent, where life itself was not worth the pebbles on the roads.
Betrayed by his classmates and offered as an unholy sacrifice, Daiki finds himself in hell, bound to eternal torment and destitution, forced to undergo hideous torments for sins he has yet to commit, Daiki swears to bring down the ones responsible over his demise.
The story 'truly' starts with the journey to hell and its seven circles, it is but the beginning of an event that will shake the heavens.
"I shall bring the divine to their knees and call upon the requiem...For it is my task...and my revenge."
(World mythology is included in this story, from Christian: like the fallen angels. The four horsemen the princes of hell, even Celtic, Indian, African, Greek, Hebrew, Egyptian and more. A lot of mythologies have been included within this story to add to its complexity and beauty, I hope you are a fan of old myths, this story is filled with them)

Arc 1: 571 pages (complete)
Arc 2: (in progress)
Ultimately, I'm writing this for enjoyment. If you enjoy it too, fantastic!
Gore: Extremely infrequent, but moderately intense.
Profanity: There are a few swear words here and there, as well as some more creative insults.
Traumatizing Content: While I'm at it, there are some questionable morals displayed (mostly after chapter 77). So far we can check off slavery, brainwashing, war, and genocide.
This story is very Light Novel-ish because I love light novels, but it does have a planned plot, goal, and ending, and I intend to see it through. You'll see my writing style change somewhat as the story goes on, thanks to constructive feedback from the readers.
New readers, please keep in mind, chapters written from the main character's perspective are in the first person. This is a story with a so-called "unreliable narrator."
My story accepts donations, but it is free to read and I've only uploaded it here.
Lastly, Orc Lord is now a member of the WriTEr's Pledge, which means I have sworn to see it through to a satisfying ending.
A man finds himself reincarnated into a dungeon core and must find a way to survive, the greedy adventurers, craving mages and ambitious leaders. All the while trying to make peace with the changes to himself as well as keep his hedonistic lifestyle. "Because you only live once... except when you don't, but who cares more fun for me"
Author's note. The first 15 or so chapters are rather poorly written so this is an early warning, it dose, however, improve after that.
This is essentially a draft of the novel with minimal editing for the sake of speed and time, which is why I ask for your patience when reviewing this story. I don't mind if you criticise, but I would be grateful if it was also constructive in nature, or at least entertaining.
A story I've started writing a couple months ago. Transported to another world, pretty standard fantasy setting with my amateur attempt to make it a bit dark. There's Litrpg elements here but I do hope it's not too heavy and annoying. The fights should be interesting and aren't just numbers vs numbers.
Ilea Spears is your average black haired japanese high school student, no I'm kidding. She will be transported to another world rather conventionally and will be confronted with survival in the wild. There's magic, monsters and some numbers, cause I'm a nerd. And so are you.
Don't expect anything special here. I'm no writer and just do this as a hobby from time to time. Give it a shot though and let me know what you think.
I do appreciate criticism but please be more specific than "This is shit". Or at least use some imaginary vocabulary and write more than three words on why it's shit. Most people can improve so give them a chance to do so.
Chapters usually 2.5 - 3k words
